Taco Table Serving Instructions

Step 1

Heating Instructions

Remove the lids from the foil trays and heat in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes or until hot. (Note: All heated elements must reach a minimum internal temperature of 75°C before serving.)

Crispy Shrimps

For the best result:
Fry the shrimp in neutral-tasting oil until golden brown.

Alternative 1:
Pan-fry the shrimp over medium heat using a generous amount of neutral oil. Remember to turn them so they cook evenly on all sides.

Alternative 2:
Coat the shrimp thoroughly in neutral-tasting oil and bake in the oven at a minimum of 200°C for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Unpack the cold elements and arrange them in bowls – place on the table.

Step 3

Heating Corn Tortillas

Method 1:

Heat a pan over medium heat, add a little cooking oil, and warm the tortillas for 1 minute on each side. Remove from the pan and keep warm wrapped in a clean kitchen towel.

Method 2:

Divide the tortillas into smaller stacks and wrap them in aluminum foil. Heat in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them while heating. Keep warm in a kitchen towel.

Serving Instructions

Place the warm elements in foil trays or your own bowls to help retain heat at the table.

Place the warm tortillas on the table, preferably still wrapped in the towel or foil to keep them warm.

You are now ready to assemble your tacos at the table. We recommend using no more than 4 elements per taco to avoid overpowering the flavours.

A delicious combination could be: guacamole, pork, and pickled red onions.

Remember not to overfill your taco – the tortilla should still be able to fold nicely over the filling.

Enjoy!
